Back to Barn-Ops Waitlist

Private beta

Horse care calendar care reminders by access.

Routine care dates and recurring services belong next to the horse record. Current workflows still exist where enabled; broader access starts with the waitlist.

  • Recurring rules per horse, not per barn
  • Reminders before the routine slips
  • ICS export to Apple/Google Calendar
  • Visible to your team without spam
What is in the care calendar

Designed for the routine work that actually keeps horses sound.

Set a rule once. Every horse on that rule shows up on the calendar with reminders, and you keep the audit trail of what was actually done and when.

Vaccinations & boosters

Configure spring/fall shots per horse with vaccine combos, boosters, and recommended cadence. Reminders fire 30 and 7 days before due — so the spring rabies does not get missed because the vet was hard to schedule.

Farrier cycles

Per-horse farrier cycles (4, 5, 6, 7 weeks) with the next visit auto-projected. See the whole barn's farrier load on one calendar so the farrier visit covers more horses per trip.

Dental floats

Annual or biannual dental schedule per horse with vet name, last float date, and recommended next due. Helpful for performance horses where dental affects bridle work.

Deworming & fecal counts

Schedule strategic deworming with fecal egg counts on the same calendar. Track which dewormer was used and when, so resistance management actually has a record.

Show prep & travel

Plan show prep — clipping, bath, hauling, paperwork checks — backwards from a show date. Pulls Coggins and health certificate expiry from the document drawer so the timing lines up.

ICS export & team visibility

Subscribe Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook to your barn calendar via ICS — read-only — so the calendar lives where you already look. Team members see what is theirs.

Common questions

What owners ask before they trust the calendar with the routine.

Can I sync this with Apple Calendar or Google Calendar?
Calendar sync is part of the broader barn-ops access path. The public page is waitlist-led, but care reminders and service workflows still exist in the app where enabled.
What kinds of reminders does it send?
The care workflow focuses on reminders tied to horse records and documents: vaccinations, farrier visits, dental, Coggins expiry, and similar routine or recurring services.
Can different horses have different vaccination schedules?
Yes. Each horse has its own vaccination plan — a broodmare on the farm has different needs than a show horse traveling to multiple states. You can clone a plan across horses and tweak from there.
Does it know my farrier cycle?
Once you log a farrier visit, the calendar auto-projects the next visit based on the horse's configured cycle (4/5/6/7 weeks or custom). When the visit happens, log it and the next one re-projects from that date — so cycles do not silently slip.
Can I assign calendar items to specific team members?
Team assignments are part of advanced barn operations and remain access-gated, not a default public marketing workflow.
