Affiliate Program Terms
Last Updated: April 17, 2026These are the rules for the Equimeta Affiliate Program. They work with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, these rules control for affiliate topics.
The Program is part of Equimeta Pro. Right now, only approved members in the Pro Network can join. You must keep an active Professional Elite plan in good standing. Current plan details are on the Pricing page. By applying or taking part, you agree to these rules.
Quick summary
- You need Professional Elite to join and stay active.
- Commissions are one-time payouts triggered by the referred customer's first paid invoice, not by checkout. Free trials must convert to a paid invoice before any commission is recorded.
- Each conversion is held for 14 days before payout. If the referral cancels or the charge is refunded inside that window, the commission is voided (clawed back).
- Refer 10 paying customers in a single calendar month and earn an extra $250 performance bonus.
- Referred customers currently get 50% off their first invoice with a valid affiliate code.
1. Eligibility and Enrollment
To join and stay in the Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have an active Equimeta account and Professional Elite subscription.
- Keep your account in good standing.
- Provide requested information for approval, payouts, taxes, compliance, and fraud prevention.
- Application to the Program does not guarantee acceptance.
- Equimeta may approve, deny, pause, or end participation at its discretion.
- Unless we approve otherwise in writing, each person or business may have only one affiliate account.
- You must keep contact, payout, and tax details accurate and up to date.
2. Current Pricing Structure and Commission Schedule
Current public prices are listed on our Pricing page.
Approved affiliates earn a one-time payout tied to the plan and billing interval the referred customer signs up for. Payouts are awarded only on the customer's first paid invoice for that subscription — checkout alone does not trigger a commission, and free trials must convert to a paid invoice. Insider and Competitor are quarterly or annual; Professional tiers are monthly or annual.
Insider
- Quarterly $50.00
- Annual $150.00
Competitor
- Quarterly $100.00
- Annual $300.00
Professional
- Monthly $30.00
- Annual $150.00
Professional Plus
- Monthly $60.00
- Annual $300.00
Professional Elite
- Monthly $100.00
- Annual $500.00
Refer 10 paying customers in a single calendar month (counted as conversions that have cleared the 14-day hold and been marked Paid) and earn an extra $250 performance bonus for that month. Bonuses are awarded automatically and appear in your dashboard alongside conversion payouts.
Prices, discounts, and payout rates may change. If we lower commission rates in a major way, we will usually give active affiliates at least 30 days' notice. We may make faster changes when needed for legal, technical, or fraud-prevention reasons.
3. Qualifying Referrals and Attribution
A referral qualifies only if checkout uses your approved code or link and the referred customer's subscription generates its first successful paid invoice. Free trials, $0 invoices, and abandoned checkouts do not earn commissions. Equimeta's internal records are final for attribution, timing, plan, billing period, and payout eligibility.
- No retroactive attribution is granted after checkout.
- Only the first eligible paid invoice for that referred subscription earns a one-time payout.
- Renewals, upgrades, downgrades, reactivations, add-ons, and other non-subscription charges do not earn affiliate commissions.
- Self-referrals and abusive referrals are prohibited. This includes your own payment method, duplicate/fake accounts, and same household/business setups created mainly to generate commissions.
- Equimeta may reject or reverse conversions that appear fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or not in line with these rules.
4. Customer Discounts and Pricing Claims
Approved affiliate codes currently apply a 50% discount to the customer's first invoice. The discount is applied only in Equimeta checkout and may not stack with other offers unless checkout allows it. You may not promise custom prices, rebates, side payments, or off-platform discounts unless Equimeta approves them in writing.
When promoting Equimeta, describe plans, features, and prices accurately and in line with public information on the Pricing and Pro Network pages. Do not guarantee that any feature, free trial, price, or promotion will stay available for a specific period.
5. Marketing Rules and Compliance
You are responsible for your own marketing. You must follow all applicable laws, platform rules, and industry guidance.
- Disclose your relationship with Equimeta whenever required by law, including FTC endorsement rules.
- Do not make false, misleading, unsubstantiated, or deceptive claims about Equimeta, plans, earnings, or likely platform performance.
- Do not present yourself as an Equimeta employee, legal representative, or spokesperson.
- Do not send spam, unlawful SMS, robocalls, or other illegal unsolicited communications.
- Do not use cookie stuffing, forced redirects, fake lead forms, or similar tactics that hijack attribution.
- Do not bid on "Equimeta" (or very similar brand terms) in paid search. Do not use Equimeta marks in domains, handles, or ad copy in a way that implies official sponsorship.
6. Payouts, Verification, and Taxes
Approved conversions appear in your dashboard the moment the referred customer's first invoice is paid, and are then held for a 14-day verification window before they are eligible for payout. This window allows Equimeta to review refunds, chargebacks, failed payments, early cancellations, abuse signals, and other validity issues before funds leave Equimeta's account.
- Each conversion shows a Pending status and an "available on" date in your dashboard while the 14-day hold runs. Once the hold elapses without cancellation or refund, the payout job picks the row up and the conversion is marked Paid.
- Payouts are issued via Stripe Connect transfer to your connected payout account, or by bank transfer / PayPal at Equimeta's discretion. Equimeta may batch multiple eligible conversions into a single transfer.
- Performance bonuses (Section 2) are calculated automatically the day after each calendar month closes and are paid through the same outbox once the qualifying conversion count is verified. Bonuses are not subject to the 14-day hold because the underlying conversions have already cleared theirs.
- Equimeta may require tax forms, identity checks, Stripe Connect onboarding, and payout details before releasing funds.
- You are responsible for taxes, reporting obligations, and any banking or transfer fees tied to payouts.
- No interest accrues on pending commissions.
7. Clawbacks, Reversals, Offsets, and Withholding
Equimeta may withhold, deny, claw back, reverse, or offset commissions when a conversion should not be paid. Clawback inside the 14-day hold is automatic: if the referred subscription is cancelled or its first paid invoice is refunded before the hold elapses, the conversion is marked ClawedBack and the pending payout is voided before any money moves. Common triggers include:
- refunds, chargebacks, payment disputes, or failed subscription payments;
- canceled free trials that never become an eligible paid conversion;
- cancellation of the referred subscription inside the 14-day hold window;
- duplicate, self-generated, or abusive referrals;
- breach of these Affiliate Terms, the Terms of Service, or applicable law;
- missing or inaccurate payout or tax information; or
- suspected fraud, sanctions concerns, or platform abuse.
If a refund or cancellation occurs after the payout has already been disbursed, Equimeta will review the transfer and may deduct the amount from future commissions, request direct repayment, or in Equimeta's discretion reverse the Stripe Connect transfer.
If Equimeta overpays you, we may deduct that amount from future commissions or request direct repayment.
8. Equimeta Marks, Content, and Marketing Assets
If Equimeta provides logos, copy, images, or other approved assets, you get a limited license to use them only to promote Equimeta under these terms. This license is non-exclusive, can be revoked, and cannot be transferred. All related goodwill belongs to Equimeta.
- You may not alter Equimeta marks in a misleading way.
- You may not register domains, social handles, or business names confusingly similar to Equimeta marks.
- If suspended or terminated, you must promptly stop using Equimeta assets, marks, referral links, and affiliate codes.
9. Independent Contractor Relationship
You participate as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, franchise, partnership, fiduciary, or joint venture relationship. You cannot negotiate for or bind Equimeta.
10. No Guarantee; Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability
The Program is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Equimeta does not guarantee acceptance, uninterrupted availability, traffic, conversion rates, customer retention, or affiliate earnings. Equimeta also does not guarantee uninterrupted third-party platform or payment services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Equimeta and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses of revenue, profit, data, goodwill, reputation, or business opportunity arising from the Program.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Equimeta's total liability under this Program will not exceed the greater of: (a) commissions paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 USD. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Equimeta and its affiliates from third-party claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that come from your actions.
- Your marketing, content, or required disclosures.
- Your breach of these terms, our Terms of Service, or applicable law.
- Your negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct.
- Taxes or fees related to your affiliate earnings.
In short, if your actions cause legal or financial harm, you are responsible for those costs.
12. Suspension, Termination, and Program Changes
Equimeta may suspend or terminate your participation immediately if your Professional Elite plan lapses, your account is suspended/terminated, you breach these terms or law, or suspension is advisable for legal, security, compliance, or fraud-prevention reasons.
- You may stop participating in the Program at any time by ceasing promotion and notifying Equimeta.
- After termination, your code and referral link may be disabled immediately.
- Pre-termination conversions may still be paid if they remain valid, verified, and compliant.
- Equimeta may change, pause, or discontinue the Program at any time. Where reasonably practicable, active affiliates will receive at least 30 days' notice before materially adverse changes take effect.
13. Governing Law and Contact
Rules about governing law, arbitration, class-action waiver, and dispute process are in our Terms of Service. If you have questions, contact legal@equimeta.co.
