Data Deletion Instructions
Last Updated: March 26, 2026This page explains how to request deletion of your Equimeta account and personal data, including accounts created with social login providers such as Facebook.
How to Request Deletion
You can request data deletion in either of the following ways:
- Email request: Send an email to privacy@equimeta.co from the email address associated with your Equimeta account.
- In-app request: From your account settings, submit a deletion request if the option is available for your account.
What to Include
To help us verify and process your request, include:
- Your account email address
- Your full name on the account (if available)
- A short statement that you want your account and personal data deleted
Processing Timeline
We review and process deletion requests within 30 days. In some cases, we may need additional time where legally permitted (for example, to complete fraud-prevention checks or satisfy legal obligations).
What Is Deleted
- Account profile data and authentication links
- Private Barn records and private account preferences
- Personal data that is no longer required for legal, security, or financial compliance
What May Be Retained
Certain records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including transaction records, signed documents, and fraud-prevention logs.
