Care invoices from barn to owner checkout.

Barn managers and pros build itemized care bills on the managed horse record. Owners review the same invoice in account billing and pay through Stripe — no scattered Venmo threads.

  • Itemized line items per horse
  • Stripe checkout for owners
  • Sent from managed horse records
  • Clear sent and paid status
How it works

Two sides, one invoice record.

The invoice lives on the horse. Pros send from the barn workspace; owners pay from account billing when the invoice arrives.

Open the managed horse

From your pro workspace, open the client horse you bill for. Care billing sits on the horse detail so charges stay tied to the right animal and owner relationship.

Build line items

Add services, board days, training rides, supplies, or other care charges. Each line item shows quantity, rate, and description so the owner sees exactly what they are paying for.

Send to the owner

When the invoice is ready, send it from the horse record. The owner receives it in their account billing area with the same line-item breakdown you built.

Owner pays via Stripe

Owners open the invoice, review totals, and complete checkout through Stripe. Payment runs on Stripe's rails — Equimeta coordinates the workflow and keeps the invoice status updated.

Track sent and paid status

Both sides can see whether an invoice is draft, sent, or paid. That reduces back-and-forth texts asking whether a bill went out or cleared.

Escalate through support

If an invoice looks wrong, an owner cannot access billing, or a payment fails, contact support with the horse name and invoice details so the team can help.

Common questions

What barns and owners ask about care invoices.

Who can send a care invoice?
Pros and barn managers with access to a managed horse record can build and send care invoices for that horse. Owners receive invoices tied to horses they own or manage in Equimeta.
Where do owners find invoices?
Owners open account billing to see sent care invoices. Each invoice opens to the full line-item detail and Stripe checkout when payment is due.
How does payment work?
Owners pay through Stripe checkout on eligible invoices. Equimeta coordinates the invoice workflow; card processing runs on Stripe, not on Equimeta directly.
Can I edit an invoice after sending?
Draft invoices can be adjusted before send. If something is wrong after an invoice goes out, contact support with the horse and invoice details so the team can help.
Is this the same as Deal Room payment?
No. Care invoices cover ongoing barn and training services on managed horses. Deal Room payments handle horse purchase transactions between buyers and sellers.

Pros start from managed horses and billing. Owners start from account billing when a bill arrives.
