Temperament & Management
The All-Rounder
Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.
About this horse
Trail-oriented and already ridden in multiple locations, this 8-year-old Appaloosa mare has basic outside experience along with established groundwork. The listing describes her as sweet and a pretty mover, but also makes clear that she is not fully finished and would benefit from additional mileage. She is reported to go better on the trail with company and may object when ridden alone by stopping and tossing her head once she has reached her limit. Overall, the ad suggests a usable trail mare for a rider who can manage some resistance and continue her education.
