Temperament & Management
The Competitor
Athletic, forward, and mentally steady enough to stay useful under pressure. Has the engine to move up and the brain to stay there - doesn't need babysitting in warm-up or convincing at the gate. Suited to riders who want to climb levels, not just maintain them.
About this horse
Used primarily as a heel horse for team roping, this 14-year-old AQHA gelding also has an established background in barrel racing and pole bending. He is described as well broke with advanced controls and a strong preference for arena work and gaming events, where his speed and competitive mindset are assets. The seller also reports extensive trail mileage, including overnight trips, hunting, and leading a pack string, indicating useful outside experience. He is presented as sound, requiring no maintenance, and as easy to shoe, load, haul, and keep. Because he is fast and performance-oriented, he appears better suited to a rider with experience rather than a beginner.
