You will not find a horse this age as civil as he is. He’s been hauled and seasoned on trails and has been in multiple parades. He has the experience most old horses have at his age. He has years to last as well. He has a correct nice handle on him. Anyone can ride him. Collects and breaks at the poll beautifully at all gates. He has a nice turn around. W/T/C with ease. He will also short lope off. Picks up both his leads great. He is not fast or performance minded. Definitely more woah than go, but not lazy where you have to constantly kick to go. He has a very comfortable and smooth gate. Where he is not performance minded, the best avenue for him if you wanted to do any kind of event would be ranch/trail or obstacle courses. He is so so civil. Leave him off for a while and get right on. He is honest. He has such a unique look with all 4 high white socks, and his big blaze face, striking dark points on his legs and ears. You could absolutely show him in a halter class as well. He would also be great for anyone just wanting to go down the trail or have a gentle family horse. He will go over/through anything. Just recently ridden through the Vaquero gathering in the down town Fort Worth Stockyards! He’s healthy, and is super easy to catch and shoe. Stands calm, no pawing or nickering. He’s perfectly fine to be the only horse you have because he is NOT sour at all. However if you have other horses, he’s good with others too. He loads and unloads easily.
