About this horse

$3,500 USD Beatutiful red roan appy mare. 18 years old, 15-15.1hh. Trixie is a well broke mare that does as she's told. She is a strong mare that has ridden on some tough hilly 60 mile trail rides, packed out west, been through town, to bars and even in the bars. Not much for fancy buttons, but she's a strong and safe mount. Leads, loads, ties, respects fence, good for the vet and farrier. She rides best in a hackamore. Does have an old wire cut on her left hind leg, has never bothered her. Her front teeth are worn from possibly cribbing in the past. Has no issues eating from hay nets or grazing. Had a full vet check, eyes are good, teeth floated last year and should maybe be done again in a year. I got Trixie on trade as she was supposed to be bred to a blanketed Appaloosa. Ultrasound confirmed she is not in foal. I only rode her once and she was my best ride all year. Fun to ride, big lope, not scared of anything etc. If she was younger, I would keep her as a personal horse, but I dont need another. Her winter blanket goes with her. Because of the icey conditions, and I dont have an indoor arena, I am offering a small trial period for a few days. Take her, ride her, and if you dont like her you can bring her back.
