About this horse

Disciplines: 4H, Barrel Racing, Barrels-Poles-Gymkhana, English, Intermediate Rider Recommended, Pole Bending, Rodeo, Trail Riding Tricky is a fun mare with high spirits! She is a consistent 3D/2D barrel horse that has earned money in races, but can be in the 2D with more riding. As I am in college, I haven’t been able to give her the regular exercise she needs. She is solid-footed, can run on any ground, doesn’t knock over barrels, and has had no injuries over the 6 years I have owned her. She needs a confident rider who can push her through the gate, but once she is in the arena, she is a free-running barrel horse. She enjoys going on trial rides, leading or following the pack, and has no problem with water. Outside of barrel racing, she has done WAHSET and 4H, including poles, figure 8, English, and showmanship. She stands still for the farrier, bathing, tied to the trailer, and doesn’t get herd bound. She is 17 years old and stands at 15 hands tall. Overall, she is a great barrel horse!
