$9,500 USD NEGOTIABLE Tipperary Tipp is a lovely grade gaited gelding, at 14.2hh and roughly 10 years old. He was purchased as a lesson horse at a hunter/jumper barn and carried many riders over fences and around the local trail. Tipp is best suited for a confident rider who wants to keep him lightly fit and handle him on the ground as much as in the saddle. He has all the love in the world to give to his one person and their friends, but is pretty unhappy with the busy atmosphere of the public lesson/training barn with traffic coming and going at all points of the day. Tipp would prefer a location that would let him live in a small group with other horses, either a field or a dry lot. Tipp was previously stalled, and while he did fine in the stall, he had some hard times coping under saddle. He has since moved outside and lives with two other horses and has had no issues or vices since moving to a larger space with friends. Since moving outside, his temperament has been at a 2, keeping extremely calm in low stress situations and aware, but uninvolved in medium stress situations. Tipp can be ridden in a: - Western saddle with shank bridle and neck reins, where he prefers to give a medium 4 beat gait instead of a trot. - Dressage saddle with snaffle bridle and direct contact, where he will offer a quality 2 beat trot. - Hunter/jumper saddle with snaffle bridle and loose/soft contact, where he will offer a longer stride 2 beat trot.
