About this horse

Used for trail riding and foxhunting, this 5-year-old grey gelding has a broader foundation than a typical young horse. He was shown in hand as a yearling, then given time to mature before being started under saddle late in his 3-year-old year. Since then, he has logged substantial trail mileage, completed a full season of foxhunting, and been taken to local shows. The listing describes him as a straightforward ride with a soft mouth and a willing outlook, suggesting a useful young gelding with some experience outside the arena and the kind of attitude that may suit a rider wanting versatility rather than a narrowly specialized prospect.
