Goose has gone along to the beach (where everybody wanted photos with him), was a shining star at the obstacle course, has played over some jumps, gone on many trail rides, been ridden in all disciplines, and has always been a “yes sir/ma’am” to anything else we ask of him. On the ground Goose is a gentle giant. He is always waiting patiently at the gate in the mornings to have his halter put on. He walks patiently to the barn and does not rush into his stall to eat breakfast. When it comes time to have his “spa” time he is patient and loving of all attention. Goose will ground tie, cross tie, and single tie for grooming and saddling. Goose is an absolute pleasure to ride in and out of the arena. In the arena he is patient, calm, and willing. He has a lovely walk trot and the SMOOTHEST canter. He has the perfect amount of woah and go for all levels of riders. When riding if the rider gets unsure just say “woah” it is his favorite word! Goose has been off property multiple times and loves it! He will practically load himself! Just like in Top Gun, “Talk to me Goose” is used when Maverick needs guidance and reassurance.
