The All-Rounder

Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.

About this horse

$1,000 USD Disciplines: Advanced Rider Recommended, Baroque, Broodmare, Dressage, Hunter, Recipient Broodmare, Western Dressage Available. Super sweet Grulla, Unpapered Andalusian Mare ready to find her place. Sweetie was purchased at auction in Texas as part of a breeding farm dispersal last November. She has spent most of her life being a mom and would make someone a really great project. She is going to need a lot of work and support from her person as she is an insecure mare. She has issues with being herd bound, which we have been consistently working through. She has been backed but we have been going super slow with her and concentrating mainly on ground work to give her boundaries and confidence. We do believe that with the right person, this mare will thrive. She is very gentle, kind and respectful. She craves attention and people. She is gorgeous and her coloring rare. She must go to an experienced and confidant home. She doesn't have a mean bone in her but needs the guidance of someone who is skilled with anxious and insecure horses. Videos available on request. I must reiterate that this mare is a PROJECT. Pictures up on farm page on Facebook [contact info removed]
