Temperament & Management
The Old Soul
Measured, forgiving, and built for teaching. This horse has processed enough chaos to stop being bothered by most of it. Won't set the ring on fire, but won't let you fall on your face either. Gives back exactly what you put in - with a little grace on top.
About this horse
Used primarily as a ranch horse, this 2019 AQHA gelding has experience with cattle work, ranch rodeo competition, pickup work at rodeos, and heading, with additional exposure on the roping dummy. The listing presents him as a quiet, forgiving ride with beginner-oriented handling, citing child riders, voice-down transitions, a dependable stop, and the ability to work on a loose rein. He is also described as steady on the trail, including alone or in company, and confident over water, bridges, logs, tarps, and uneven ground. Barn manners are a notable part of the ad: he is said to tie quietly, load and haul well, stand for the veterinarian and farrier, remain consistent after time off, and show no vices.
