About this horse

An experienced event horse, this 17-year-old Thoroughbred gelding has competed through the 2* level earlier in his career and later carried riders from beginner novice through modified and novice. He recently returned from a lease where he competed successfully at novice level with a teen, and the listing states he is back in work and winning after an injury in 2024. He is described as brave and forgiving over fences, trained through Second Level dressage with some Third Level lateral work, and comfortable to ride. The ad notes some noise sensitivity and occasional spooking, so he is presented as better suited to an experienced rider in a program than to a true beginner. He is reported to clip, tie, trailer, and stand for the vet and farrier, and to do best with routine and ample turnout.
