The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Barrel racing prospect with proven 2D results, this 4-year-old AQHA chestnut gelding is also started in cow work and rope-horse fundamentals. The listing states he has worked cattle and flags, will rope and stop on a cow, and is regarded as a strong cutting type. At 15 hands, he is described as substantial-bodied, sound, and clean-legged. Buyer caution is warranted on suitability: the seller says he needs a rider prepared for his power and willing to stay out of his way, which reads as forward and not beginner-safe. The ad also states he has not yet been fully extended on the barrel pattern.
