Temperament & Management
The Old Soul
Measured, forgiving, and built for teaching. This horse has processed enough chaos to stop being bothered by most of it. Won't set the ring on fire, but won't let you fall on your face either. Gives back exactly what you put in - with a little grace on top.

She originally purchased him to be a project resale horse, but upon training him, she decided she liked him better than the Morab she was riding at the time! (we are a training and competition facility) Since Emily has competed on Appachee extensively in endurance ( several 25 mile rides as top placer), Working Equitation (L1 & L2), light jumping (2 ft and under), EXTENSIVE rugged trial riding out west, parades, cattle work, fun shows, and as a lesson horse. Appachee is level-headed, and awesome on the trails, he has potential for speed in western work, but has not been pushed as a racehorse. A sporty, athletic mover, Appachee is a versatile large pony, perfect for a young person wanting to do a wide variety of things. Registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club.
