Temperament & Management
The Old Soul
Measured, forgiving, and built for teaching. This horse has processed enough chaos to stop being bothered by most of it. Won't set the ring on fire, but won't let you fall on your face either. Gives back exactly what you put in - with a little grace on top.
About this horse
Used as a ranch horse with additional crossover potential, this 4-year-old AQHA sorrel gelding is described as a quiet, thick-made 14.3-hand horse with trail and ranch experience. He reportedly travels out alone or in company without much change in behavior and handles being ahead of or behind a group. The listing states that he neck reins, is soft in the bridle and body, and has been used in Oklahoma for everyday ranch work, including roping and halter breaking colts. He is presented as suitable for an amateur or professional program, with possible direction toward breakaway roping or the show pen.
