Temperament & Management
The Easy Day
Uncomplicated and content. Not trying to impress anyone, and that's exactly the appeal. Won't light up the arena, but won't ruin your Tuesday either. Consistent, low-key, and genuinely pleasant to be around - the horse that makes the hobby sustainable.
About this horse
Trail and driving gelding with established experience both under saddle and in harness. This 6-year-old Morgan x Dutch cross is described as broke to ride and drive, traffic safe in the cart, and accustomed to big equipment, dogs, and general activity while hitched. Under saddle, he is presented as laid back, willing, and light to the aids, with extensive trail mileage alone and in groups. He may hesitate briefly when asked to lead through a creek, but reportedly crosses without issue after a moment and follows another horse through readily. He is not marketed as a true babysitter due to his age and sensitivity, though family children have ridden him around the yard. A disclosed scarred area on the back left leg is said not to affect movement, and no vices are reported.
