She's a special one: 4-year-old registered foundation-bred black mare with the mind, movement, and build to go in almost any direction you want to take her. I’ve owned her since weaning, so I know this mare inside and out. She’s athletic, level-headed, and genuinely a pleasure to be around — the kind of horse that makes you stop and watch her move. Lovely conformation, great feet, and good bone to match. She's smart and responsive and learns quickly. Nothing about PopTart is dull. She was intentionally started “late” to give her time to mature and to preserve her health and joints — this mare will last a lifetime AND be a phenomenal broodmare when she’s ready to retire. After patient and consistent ground work since weaning, she has six months under saddle. Confirmed at W/T/L and I’d still consider her green, so she needs a rider with experience and confidence — this is not a beginner’s horse. What she offers in return is a foundation you can build almost anything on. She’s been out on cattle and on the trail; with her excellent mind, cowy nature and movement, a reined cow horse career could be her sweet spot. She’d also suit a rider looking for a talented all-around foundation-bred prospect. Having ridden dressage for many years, I even believe she could even go that direction with the proper guidance. Ground manners are excellent: stands tied, loads without issue, and is great for the farrier. She's been trimmed every 6 weeks since weaning.
