About this horse

Jazz is looking for his forever home. This handy, well-rounded gelding has truly done a bit of everything—English or Western, he steps up wherever you point him. He has show experience at the schooling level in hunt seat, jumping, and western classes, and has also been used for roping, cow sorting, carrying flags, trail riding, low-level gaming, and even as a backup rodeo queen horse. He handles loud crowds, helicopters overhead, and busy environments with confidence. Jazz is the type that matches the level of his rider—he’s smart, willing, and enjoys having a job. Because of this, I recommend a confident rider. He wouldn’t be suitable for a small beginner kid, but experienced youth or riders in a program could be a great fit. He is good for the farrier, ties well (including in cross-ties), and is currently sound with no maintenance required. The only quirk to note: he can pull back during cinching if he is tied. If he is not tied, he stands quietly with no issues. Jazz is ready to go in any direction and would make a fantastic partner for someone who wants a talented, fun, and versatile horse.
