The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Barrel racing prospect with additional start in breakaway and cattle work, this 2019 AQHA mare is described as 15.1 hands, athletic, and people-oriented. She has basic flatwork in place with walk, trot, lope, lead knowledge, haunches-in, rollbacks, and beginning lead changes. Her current progression includes trotting the barrel pattern, starting to lope through it, tracking a calf sled and calves, and introductory work in the box. The listing also states she has been hauled to barrel races for time-onlys, has over 300 mountain trail miles, and has been used for client lessons. Management notes include tying, hauling, hobbles, clipping, bathing, blanketing, and being good for the farrier. Buyer caution: she is described as wanting a job and is noted to be better on the trail in a group, which suggests she may suit an intermediate rider rather than a true beginner.
