Temperament & Management
The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Ranch riding-oriented and previously used for roping, this 14-year-old AQHA bay roan mare is described as broke, sound, and able to return to work easily after time off. She has experience on the trail, including water and bridges, and is reported to pony other horses, be ponied, and help with colt work. The listing positions her as a fit for ranch riding, ranch trail, equitation, and possibly lower-level hunter/jumper use. She is said to be light in the bridle and quick-footed, making her better suited to intermediate riders or supervised beginners rather than unsupervised novices. Handling notes include loading, clipping, bathing, veterinary care, farrier work, and being comfortable around other horses or alone.
