(read more) Hotshot is an absolute awesome pony. With a sire like Midnight Superstar Karl you can only imagine the quality and potential this little guy has. Started under saddle this summer, he's confidently going walk, trot, canter, ground poles, x-rails, fillers, small jumps. Starting x-rail grids, courses, and fundamentals. Has seen some small cross country obstacles such as water, ditches, drops and banks. He's been free jumped 2'9” and has plenty of room to spare. He has the stride length to make it down the line and will be a serious competitor on the circuit. I certainly wouldn't mind if he went to a kid that wanted to do jumpers and/or eventing with him instead of hunters as he has the bold , forward attitude for that as well as the style for the hunters. He's also pretty solidly schooling training level dressage and would be competitive for a kid that wanted to go to the Dressage Pony Cup. He is all pony personality though, that combined with his age (coming 4yr old) means he needs to be in a program, and is perfect for a trainers kid, on a trainers budget, especially for this level of quality in a pony.
