Athletic, forward, and mentally steady enough to stay useful under pressure. Has the engine to move up and the brain to stay there - doesn't need babysitting in warm-up or convincing at the gate. Suited to riders who want to climb levels, not just maintain them.
About this horse
$10,000 USD OBO Disciplines: Advanced Rider Recommended, Barrel Racing, Gymkhana, Intermediate Rider Recommended, Pole Bending, Trail Riding, Working Cattle Daytona is a 12 year old bay mare. Daytona is a finished barrel horse, she has won many year end awards for local barrel clubs. Daytona is a free runner on the barrel pattern but will slow it down when asked. She does not get hot at the gate. All you have to do is circle her and she is ready to run. Daytona high lopes the pole pattern but has never been entered. Daytona has been used in the mountains to gather and check cows. She loves to go a trail rides, will ride out by herself or with a group. Daytona would be best suited for an intermediate or an advanced rider has she does get more forward when ridden in the arena. Daytona does have some quirks am happy to discuss to serious buyer. Only reason for sell is am going off to college in the fall and it is not fair for her to sit.
