Temperament & Management
The Easy Day
Uncomplicated and content. Not trying to impress anyone, and that's exactly the appeal. Won't light up the arena, but won't ruin your Tuesday either. Consistent, low-key, and genuinely pleasant to be around - the horse that makes the hobby sustainable.
About this horse
Western Pleasure and all-around prospect with early under-saddle work, this 2024 APHA sorrel filly is being developed for equitation, horsemanship, longe line, and showmanship. The listing describes a level-headed young mare with a solid foundation, including poles, backing, forehand and haunch turns, lateral work, and square corners. She is said to load, tie, and lunge, with no maintenance needs or vices reported. Suitability is aimed at an experienced amateur or a rider working with a trainer, which is consistent with her age and unfinished status. A pre-purchase exam performed at one year old reportedly included front and hind radiographs with clean findings.
