Disciplines: 4H, Barefoot Hoofcare, Beginner-Safe, Broodmare, Endurance Riding, English, Family-Safe, Gymkhana, Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunter Sweet 14.3hh 14 year old QH Bay Mare. "Secret" is a stunning Quarter Horse mare rescued from Texas last summer. She is now located in Portola Valley, CA. Despite her unknown history, she arrived in excellent condition and has proven to be an absolute sweetheart. She is currently being started over cross and has cantered a handful of times under saddle. Has an unbelievably smooth trot and she long-lines beautifully. Secret is sensitive to the leg and will trot very effortlessly and willingly. While she is a doll in her stall and while grooming, she does show tension/grumpiness while being saddled up. I handle the saddling rather than the kids and because of this, she isn’t the best horse for teaching tacking-up. She is 100% sound and ready for a consistent program. I am only selling due to an influx of client horses and a lack of time to give her the miles she deserves. I am not in a rush to sell her. Just want to find her the perfect home that she deserves.
