Athletic, forward, and mentally steady enough to stay useful under pressure. Has the engine to move up and the brain to stay there - doesn't need babysitting in warm-up or convincing at the gate. Suited to riders who want to climb levels, not just maintain them.

About this horse

We call this horse “Go” at the ranch because anytime we need a horse for anything we say, “Go get Sabre!” We needed an extra horse to take to team sorting practice with clients: “Go get Sabre!” He had never even seen a cow and crushed it (have the video!). We needed an extra horse to take to the gymkhana: “Go get Sabre!” He had never seen poles or barrels in his life, but he did great and I’ve got the videos! *On Consignment* Located in Aguanga, CA **Sabre** 14yo 16.1h Andalusian Gelding Grade Fleabitten Grey Suitable for confident beginner under trainer supervision or intermediate rider. Loves people and grooming. Very social and well behaved with other horses. Can let him sit and he tunes up quick! Literally get on and go after years off. His idea of naughty is a cute little head/neck shake! Has walk to canter transitions. Working on standing to canter transitions. SMOOTH at all gaits! More woah than go in the arena (a little bit lazy in the arena). More go than woah on trail! (LOVES to go on adventures!) Goes out alone or in a group. Very brave and forward. Can chill with my trail horses or keep up with my endurance horses. During his tune up he has been used to teach confident beginner to intermediate riders in the arena and on trail and has gone on several off site/all day trail adventures. Goes both western, English (and was ridden bareback for a photoshoot) but I have ridden him mostly western! Will remain in training until sold. Come try him. Everyone loves him…the Farrier even wanted to ride him (and yes I have a video of that). I can finish his tune up for you, or you or your trainer can. Goes in snaffle and is super easy to train. Lots of pics and videos including his first evaluation ride after coming off of just sitting for several years and have videos of him during lessons. [contact info removed] Some pics/videos are when he first got here before my farrier put shoes on him. He is shod in the front currently. Xrays/vet records available. Just had teeth done and shots due July. (Can get those done for you before transport if needed). UTD on everything including yearly light maintenance and vaccines in July, dentist, farrier Chiro etc (has been well cared for)! Xrays and vet records available. PPEs welcome! Currently shod in the front. Contact [contact info removed] Contact me for more pics and videos!
