Saar Edi

About this horse

$70,000 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: Dressage, English, Horsemanship, Husband-Safe, Western Dressage Saar EDI is the complete package of classic Baroque beauty, ideal proportions, and remarkable natural collection. While many Friesians can be towering and heavy, Saar stands at a rare, highly sought-after 16.0 hh—giving you breathtaking fairytale presence with a manageable, athletic frame that fits an adult amateur or competitive rider seamlessly. With a flowing, dense black mane that drops past his shoulder and a full, luxurious tail, his silhouette is pure majesty. Dressage Foundations & Exceptional Talent for Collection Saar is currently schooling solid First Level work, exhibiting functional, elastic biomechanics that make him a pleasure to develop up the levels: The Walk: Pure, rhythmic four-beat gait with generous relaxation and clear overtrack. The Trot: Expressive and cadenced, featuring clean articulation behind. Easy and comfortable to sit. The Canter: Naturally balanced, uphill, and easily adjustable. Early Collection: Unlike many young Baroque horses that struggle with sitting power, Saar shows immense strength behind. He already demonstrates easy, willing half steps and a natural desire to carry weight on the hind leg. A Total Gentleman with a Steady, Kind Mind Despite being an intact stallion, Saar’s demeanor is completely grounded and reliable. He exhibits zero stallion behavior—he stands quietly in the crossties directly next to mares, handles all barn routines with ease, and connects deeply with his handler. He pairs an unmistakable, regal presence with a genuine, steady kindness. On the trail, in the arena, or relaxing in the barn, he is safe, affectionate, and genuinely fun to be around every day.
