About this horse

Roulette is a 15 year old TWH/QH mare, approx 14.2. W/T/C back and whoa, no kick, buck, bite, bolt. UTD shots, teeth. Reasonably good for the farrier (good for 3 feet, starts to run out of patience for hoof #4). The good: she has never taken a lame step. Does fine barefoot. Good solid bone, VERY easy keeper, no health issues or expensive maintenance. Nice big walk, pretty, easy-to-sit trot and canter. Very light in hand and can be ridden in a sidepull or halter/lead. The bad: she is the most suspicious horse ever! Acts as if the entire world is covered in land mines. New blanket? SNORT! (That thing could kill me!) Old blanket she's worn for years? Snort-snort! (Are you SURE that's the same blanket?) After my vet floated her teeth, she didn't want to come in the barn (where the terrible deed was done) for a week. Apparently she thought he was in there hiding someplace. And for the record, my vet is kind and gentle. Does not play well with others. She is the herd leader and she never lets any of her underlings forget that. If she were a human manager, she would be that insecure ass that constantly makes up stupid new rules, just to remind everyone that they are The Boss. I'll shoot some video soon as footing improves.
