On the ground, Chief is respectful, easy to catch, and enjoys attention. He leads, ties, loads, picks up all four feet, and stands quietly for grooming and saddling. Chief has been introduced to arenas, round pens, trails, water, logs, dogs, cats, kids, cattle, traffic, and ranch noise.
