About this horse

$1 USD OBO Ripley "Ripple in Time" Fancy buckskin Appendix QH gelding, 15.3 5 years old - WOW fancy mover!! And color to boot, holy smokes this is a fancy great quality gelding! Rides English and Western, has a neck rein and rides western great, but with the movement for hunters or eventing. Ripley is a really fun ride, he is well broke and handy, not lazy but not hot, listens well and wonderfully athletic and light on his feet and very comfortable. (He is like riding a stick of butter, he is so smooth and adjustable!) Ripley was originally started as a western horse, and he excels in western sports and is very FUN riding western. He also rides English, he will both frame up and understands dressage basics with plenty of potential to be developed further, and he will also ride on a loose rein and jumps a lovely course of fences! He is currently cantering small courses with lots of filler and he goes around with plenty of gorgeous style, great cadence and consistency, and plenty of scope. If you are shopping for a quality hunter prospect on a relative budget, don't miss out! He has the type everyone looks for. He is brave over fences and not afraid of scary filler and has a gorgeous lopey canter and a beautiful flat kneed trot and incredible natural balance and a soft footfall. This horse has tons of talent to show in the hunter ring and he is ready to be finished in the discipline of your choosing - or, pick more than one! With his athleticism and movement, he would also make a stellar eventing prospect. who would be popular in dressage and scopey over fences and still cover ground without being hard to handle. His gaits are VERY smooth and easy to ride and comfortable. Your back hardly moves! He would be great for someone who wants a quality prospect to bring along through the levels, or for someone who wants a real quality riding horse for any discipline. He is easy enough for a kid or junior or amateur working with a trainer. He could also go the eventing route for he is scopey and a great mover and very athletic. He has tremendous talent to be developed further in the direction of your choosing, or, he could also be an amazing all-arounder for both English & Western sports. He is among the top most comfortable horses I've ever ridden and very pleasurable to ride. Ripley has no vices and no blemishes, no health or soundness issues and he is currently shod all around and ready to join your program. He is easy to have in the barn, gets along well with others, and he ships/loads/ties/bathes, etc. He sells grade, as I do not have papers on him. He is UTD on all care (vaccines, deworming, coggins, farrier, dental, etc). Serious inquiries only, thank you.
