Professionally started under saddle, Renata offers a good feeling for her rider with comfortable, ground-covering gaits. She is intelligent, picks new things up quickly, and hacks out confidently. Renata is easy to work around in the barn, and is good for clipping, bathing, and regular veterinary and farrier work. This is a quality young mare that is suitable for a competent rider with the knowledge base to bring along a Dressage horse through the levels. Sire Teade 392, Sport, served as a foundation sire for the Iron Spring Farm Friesian breeding program. A kind-natured, regal stallion with fans all over the world, Teade was famous for his long, thick hair, and epitomized the Friesian breed. His career highlights include being named Reserve Champion for Second Level Adult Amateur at the GAIG/USDF Region 1 Championships, as well as successes through Fourth Level and being awarded the Sport predicate. Approved on offspring, Teade has sired numerous 1st Premies, keuring champions, Star and Crown mares, as well as the Approved stallion Sipke 450. Dam Goaitske fan 'e Wigeri, Star is sired by the important Iron Spring Farm Friesian stallion Heinse 354, Sport/Preferent. Prior to importation, Heinse was named the Dutch National Friesian Stallion Champion three times and won the Dutch National Driving Championships in Holland twice. As a performance horse in the US, he competed successfully to Fourth Level dressage with scores above 70%, including being named Reserve Champion for the Fourth Level Musical Freestyle at the CBLM Championships in 2005. Heinse was well-regarded as a sire with numerous successful offspring, including our own breeding stallion Meinse 439. Goaitske herself was 1st Premie Star, Mare Champion, Champion of the Day, and Reserve Champion of the ISF IBOP Cup with a dressage score of 74% at her 2013 FHANA Keuring.
