About this horse

$2,500 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: Kid-Friendly, Light Riding, Mountain Trail, Natural Horsemanship Training, Trail Riding Lightening is proficient in Parelli Training up to level 3 and we have raised him since he was 2 and enjoyed jumping and showing him. Unfortunately, lightening was diagnosed with some arthritis in his left knee last year, after competing in California and clinic-ing at Galway Downs. Lightening has a GREAT personality, he is super smart and definitely into his person. He has lovely movement and doesn't know he has arthritis, as he chooses to play with his pasture-mates, cantering around with them when others are being caught. Lightning is taught to lie down, loads like a dream, easy to bridle, and can be ridden in a rope halter (Parelli hackamore). He'll ride on the trail alone and he definitely strides out, tracking up with his hind end. Even though Lightening's jumping days are over, he has a lot to offer a new owner who wants to enjoy scenic views of trail riding. Lightening readily chooses to canter his nice slow canter in circles in deep sand or in the field.
