Rambo is a 12 year old draft/ pony cross tri-colored paint gelding that stands 14 hh, stout framed and as heavy boned as you can get. Rambo is definitely one that falls in the unicorn status. He is truly a been there and done it all kind of gelding. Rambo has worked every event in the Little wranglers little britches rodeo association, has been on many overnight camping trips, works single or double, and has been used for every aspect of ranch work (gathering, sorting, branding, doctoring and checking fences). Rambo will meet you at the gate every day and is easy to catch, clip, bathe, stands for the farrier and is good with the vet. If you are looking for your first horse or your kid’s first horse, Rambo is suited for any level of rider, safe and gentle enough for the inexperienced and handy enough for the experienced. Rambo is definitely a big/ little horse, large enough framed to pack an adult all day long. Rambo has an easy one hand neck rein, he will ride in the front, middle, or back of a group with no issues. He moves off of leg pressure, stands to be mounted and dismounted, and has an awesome smooth running/ walk that will get you across the country. Rambo is definitely a barn favorite at our house and I’m sure he will be at yours too. We really can’t say enough good things about this little horse.
