About this horse

At Auction – Sale Date: Apr 14, 2026 Disciplines: Companion Only, Cross-Bred, English, English Pleasure, Horsemanship, Husband-Safe, Natural Horsemanship Training, Parade, Playday, Ranch Versatility For a long day of working cattle or for a luxurious trail ride, just like your favorite appetizer at any restaurant, Queso Blanco has been the way to go for a good day! He’s been used in every aspect of ranch and cattle work such as early morning shippings, sorting new cattle, pulling sick cattle, roping and doctoring, and nothing has ever phased him! On Queso’s days off, he’s taken many trail rides down at the Canadian River, treading through the sand dunes and surrounding the rocky terrain in the hills with all the trustworthy manner you could ever expect out of a reliable trail partner. He gets along well with ATVs, dune buggies, wildlife, even fire trucks, and Tilly our dog! Queso also rides English! He’s a very mannered gentleman under the saddle, whichever kind it may be. He bridles up nice and is not picky about whatever you feel like using on him that day and is always thrilled for the adventure you have in store for him. In the arena, Mr. Blanco is an absolute gentleman! He will catch both leads with ease, has a good stop, and neck reins around with style! He has been started on the head side roping the sled and is doing exceptionally well. Crack a bullwhip Aussie style and it’s no problem for Queso! He has been used for ponying young horses around and he stays as sane as can be and always stout to the horn for those that are hard to lead. Through all the ranch work and other adventures Queso has been on, he’s always had the attitude of a saint! No quirks or gimmicks, always has the best demeanor. Go ahead and get your favorite chips and get your fiesta started with Queso Blanco!
