Temperament & Management
The Competitor
Athletic, forward, and mentally steady enough to stay useful under pressure. Has the engine to move up and the brain to stay there - doesn't need babysitting in warm-up or convincing at the gate. Suited to riders who want to climb levels, not just maintain them.
About this horse
Ranch mare with practical outside miles, this 2018 AQHA grey is described as being in regular use on a ranch in open country and has also worked in a feedlot and sale barn. The listing states that she has doctored cattle, rides out alone, loads and trailers easily, and stands for the farrier. Temperament signals point to a willing horse with a sweeter disposition, but not a beginner type: she is specifically listed for an intermediate rider and is said to have more go than whoa. Seller also states she is current on vaccinations, recently shod, and sound with no history of lameness disclosed.
