Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Disciplines: Dressage, Trail Riding Polly is a cute little Peruvian Paso/Andalusian cross pony mare available for your consideration! 14.1 and 7yo. We call her “Polly Pocket” because she has an “in your pocket” personality. She is as sweet as can be and has perfect ground manners! We use her mainly for long distance trails as she has an endless gas tank and very smooth gaits. She knows a little dressage too, but prefers trails. She is not gaited, but the faster she trots the smoother it gets. And when she does a slower trot, it is comfortable and easy to post. She is a naturally forward horse and on the sensitive side so she needs a confident rider with soft hands. She is uber safe and does NOT bolt, buck, spook or anything naughty like that. Her one quirk is her “hot” and forward nature (without the spook) so she needs a rider that finds that fun! She has always been sound and we keep her barefoot, she has great feet and is an easy keeper. If you think you two will be a good fit, please message me for video and more information!
