About this horse

$5,500 USD OBO Friendly, sensible gelding looking for his next partner. I've known him since he was a yearling and trust him completely. He has never offered to buck or rear under saddle, has no vices or bad habits, and is always the first to meet you at the gate. Currently green but started walk, trot, and canter. His training has focused on developing correct fundamentals, including stretching through his back, lunging over ground poles and cavalettis, and responding to voice cues from the ground. He is a naturally balanced mover and I think he would excel in a dressage or trail home. He hauled out well on a trail ride and handled the experience with the sensible, willing attitude he shows every day. Suitable for an amateur working with a trainer or someone looking for a kind young horse to bring along. The only reason I'm considering selling him is that his back shape has proven difficult to fit with the type of saddle I prefer for long-distance endurance riding, which was my original goal for him. This is a very difficult decision, and I'd love to see him in a home where his potential can continue to develop.
