Temperament & Management
The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Offered as a young prospect, this 2-year-old buckskin filly has had professional groundwork and is currently being sold as an unstarted project rather than a riding horse. The listing states she backs, leads, turns, lunges, picks up her feet, and stands for the farrier, with a friendly, gate-greeting demeanor. At the same time, the description indicates she proved too much for an inexperienced owner and has picked up some undesirable handling habits at home, suggesting she will do best with knowledgeable, consistent handling. She is listed at 15.2 hands and still growing, with registration and panel testing in progress through the Friesian Sport horse association, and is described as current on vaccines and wormer.
