About this horse

Ovi is a breathtaking kind gelding who's training experience has been slow & correct using dressage principles. He was allowed to mentally & physically mature before entering training at four. Although he is young he has a great willing mind.. Ovi has low miles is past baby shenanigans & ready for a job. He is doing WTC gait transitions & working on self carriage but his canter is not auto yet. He is in full time training & I will continue to focus on refining & perfecting them. He can perform haunch turns forehand turns shoulder in/out haunches in/out leg yields, side passes & he crosses water & bridges with ease. He has a excellent foundation to build on. Solid on the trails would be a great cross country prospect. He is sound, built correctly & ready to get going in a variety of competative disiplines. The primary focus has been dressage working equitation & trail although I could see him being a canidate for vaulting or jousting. Not only is he built to do these sports but he also has the mind to do them. However if thats not your cup of tea he would be happy being a reliable trail partner. He has an in your pocket puppy dog personality & is the favorite for barn snuggles. He doesnt know a stranger & adores everyone. He has been in continual training since spring of 2025 both in the arena & out on trails. He will remain in training continue to reinforce & learn new skills & be used in lessons until we find his perfect match. Ovi is comfortable to ride has 3 nice gaits & goes in both a western or dressage tack. He has had lots of desensitizing & exposure using natural horsemanship approach so he is not flighty or spooky. He is solid on the trails & road traffic safe. Ovi is good with dogs horses gun shots bikes quads & farm equipment. He crosses bridges logs etc. & will ride out on his own in a group & go first middle or last on the trail. He has more whoa than go so could be the babysitter type or excell being pushed through upper level movements. He is a georgious mover that has athleticism & talent to take you to the top & will turn heads doing it. He has the look of a friesian is sporty & powerful with the eye catching baroque presence about him. . Wheather you are looking for a competative mount or a safe trail horse you will be getting the best of both worlds. He isn't just a horse, he is a partner & friend that will take care of you. At only 5 he has an exceptional mind & alot of years ahead of him for you to enjoy together.
