About this horse

$7,600 USD OBO Disciplines: 4H, Agility, All-Around Show, Barrel Racing, Beginner-Safe, Draft, Dressage, Drill Team, Driving, Endurance Riding Meet Oakley, an 11-year-old dapple gray Quarter Horse gelding standing at 14.3 hands tall. He is a gorgeous, versatile, and exceptionally well-broke gelding with impeccable ground manners, offering the rare combination of experience and a safe disposition. Youth & Show Experience: Oakley has been trusted in a lesson program with children of varying abilities, and has competed successfully in 4-H shows, Little Britches, and youth rodeos across ranch horse, trail, western pleasure, barrels, poles, English/hunt seat, and halter. Riding Buttons & Training: He is soft and responsive with plenty of buttons—including side-passes, quarter passes, opening gates, stopping on a dime, and backing softly. For the past two years, he has been a go-to horse for starting colts and safely carrying inexperienced riders down the trail. Health & Soundness Note: Oakley carries a few minor cosmetic blemishes from previous ranch work but sells 100% sound in mind and body. Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official pre-sale physical examination from Five Points Veterinary Care LLC (Adria Anderson, DVM) dated September 14, 2026. The examination recorded normal vital signs (temp 100.1, pulse 32, respiration 20), normal eyes, ears, mouth, skin, and urogenital system, with no indications of lameness or laminitis, and all feet and limbs noted as normal ("N").
