Temperament & Management
The Pro
Not flashy, not dramatic - just shows up, does the job, and goes back to the barn. Reliable in ways that take years to fully appreciate. The kind of horse that makes every day manageable and keeps ambitious goals feeling achievable.
About this horse
Primarily presented as a trail and general riding horse, this 14-year-old Belgian Draft/Paint gelding is described as broke to ride and suitable for trail, ranch, pleasure, obstacle, and family farm use once returned to regular work. He stands 17 hands and is noted to load and trailer well, stand quietly for the farrier, and be easy to catch and handle. The listing states he has been out of consistent work for about a year and a half due to the owner's pregnancy, so he is better matched to an intermediate or experienced rider who can refresh him rather than a beginner seeking a fully current horse.
