Temperament & Management
The Easy Day
Uncomplicated and content. Not trying to impress anyone, and that's exactly the appeal. Won't light up the arena, but won't ruin your Tuesday either. Consistent, low-key, and genuinely pleasant to be around - the horse that makes the hobby sustainable.
About this horse
Disciplines: Dressage, English, English Pleasure, Guest-Ranch, Husband-Safe, Lesson, No Vices, Therapeutic Riding, Therapy, Trail Riding Phantom is supposed to be a grade Morgan, but we suspect there is some draft, we're guessing Percheron, in there too. He is believed to have been with the Amish most of his life. He is very solid under saddle WT at this point and teaches beginner lessons, but is still green cantering and jumping. Has been trail ridden and seems to be traffic safe (no surprise there), and has also been cross country schooling and did great. He is definitely a push ride. Phantom is the KING of the WT-only dressage tests, raking in the 8s and 9s at shows with students, so with his quiet temperament we think he would crush it as a para dressage mount! He may also have an amble! At least according to a clinician a student rode him with a while back.
