The All-Rounder

Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.

About this horse

$6,800 USD Disciplines: Competitive Trail Riding, Dressage, Ranch Riding-Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Sorting, Ranch Versatility, Reining, Reining-Cowhorse-Cutting, Stallion-Stud-Breeding, Western Dressage, Working Equitation If you are looking for something for dressage, the sport disciplines or a future stallion, this is a very nice prospect. Bay stud colt born June 12, 2025. I call him Ray. Like all of our Morgans, Ray was thoughtfully and carefully bred with pedigree and performance in mind. He has 100% Foundation bloodlines. I expect this colt to mature around 15H. He is quite similar to his dam in body type, being more compact and handy. His dam is a lovely mare from the last foal crop at Whippoorwill Morgans, Whippoorwill Skysthelimit. His sire is the handsome bay stallion, Westwind Montana Sky. Both the sire and the dam are kind, gentle Morgans with correct movement and nice conformation. This colt is a solid choice for a stallion prospect or a using gelding. He would be a good option if you want to start your own youngster from the ground up. Ray has a fabulous round baroque trot like his dam & a super canter working off of his hindquarters. I can't say enough good about this colt. He is deep bodied, has a solid build & a pretty face. He is very dark bay and will look striking & appropriate fitted in either western or English tack. Ray is fancy and will always stand out in a crowd!
