About this horse

Disciplines: Barefoot Hoofcare, Beginner-Safe, Draft, Driving, Family-Safe, Horsemanship, Husband-Safe, Mountain Trail, No Vices, Pack If you’re looking for a draft unicorn, here he is! Meet Moe, a 16yr old 16.2 1700 lb grade Belgian gelding. I have owned Moe since 2018 and can say that he’s a unicorn. I do not need to sell him and am on the fence about even selling him because he’s so handy. I’m selling him because he tends to hit the back burner and get half the work my other horses get. He’s currently ridden around 20 miles a month. I trail ride him and I can confidently say he is perfect with anything you throw at him. Moe prefers to smell the flowers and enjoy the slower pace where I like to endurance ride. He’s great to solo or group rides day or night. I’ve had beginners and children on him many times, but I’m not selling as a beginner horse. I’d prefer someone with horse experience own him. He even rides bareback with a halter if you want to go for a swim. He would be a great husband horse or for someone who loves a bigger trail horse. *trots and lopes off little heel or a kiss. •crosses bridges, safely travels on high speed roads, crosses water *solo rides, group rides, ponies horses of any age and size •night ride in the woods with zero spook. *drives single, double and three wide at fairs, in the woods and down the road. •He’s hauled logs, manure spreaders, plowed snow, driven carts and plowed fields. *He trailers and stands at the trailer great. •clip and shoe on the ground or in stocks. He currently has shoes all the way because my boyfriend is a farrier He usually comes when called or can be walked up to in the pasture. He respects all fencing and would probably stay in baler twine. He’s a very easy keeper year round and gets along well with my herd. Depending on who’s in the pasture he’s either head horse or the 4th down if all seven horses are together. One horse who’s above him is a 2yr old QH. He can sleep in the pasture alone or in a group and does not seem to care. In 1019/2020 Moe worked in a veteran program teaching military and first responders. He worked with people who had never touched a horse and taught them how to drive him in a cart and haul a car tire. Unfortunately it was too difficult with Covid so he had to end the program. If someone experienced with horses is looking to learn to drive I would consider teaching you how to harness and drive him. I would be willing to sell his harness as well or get you in the right hands to help you buy equipment. If interested please private message me. Serious interests only. I am not looking to trade as I’m looking to downsize the herd. 🥕✋🏻k central nh
