Temperament & Management
The Easy Day
Uncomplicated and content. Not trying to impress anyone, and that's exactly the appeal. Won't light up the arena, but won't ruin your Tuesday either. Consistent, low-key, and genuinely pleasant to be around - the horse that makes the hobby sustainable.
About this horse
Trail-focused and gaited, this coming 4-year-old Kentucky Mountain gelding is described as a smooth, versatile riding horse with more training and exposure than many horses his age. He rides light and responsive, stops from the seat, neck reins, works off leg, yields both ends, sidepasses, and picks up both leads. The listing says he has carried a banner in a parade, been roped off, handled gunfire exposure, worked around cattle, and covered technical mountain trails with traffic, wildlife, water, and deadfall. He is presented as calm-minded, people-oriented, surefooted, and comfortable to ride, with registration application submitted to KMSHA.
