About this horse

$11,500 USD OBO Disciplines: Family-Safe, Gymkhana, Husband-Safe, Kid-Friendly, Playday, Roping-Rope, Team Roping, Team Roping-Head, Trail Riding, Wife-Safe Mac has done a little of everything for everyone in the family. Playdays, heading, pushing cattle, trail riding, and ponying other horses. Been ridden by seniors to young kids. Has some buttons if you ask for them but happily goes along on a loose rein. Nothing fancy as a head horse and is a go to for beginners. He is solid in the box, good on all cattle, and will track the heelomatic all day with no complaints. Same as a barrel horse, not going to place you anywhere but he will gladly pack a kid through the pattern that’s learning. Mac is fantastic outside the arena. He will go up, down, and through anything you point him at. Not bothered by passing vehicles, barking dogs, or anything else you might encounter. Will ride out alone or in a group. Mac has been in the same family for a decade. In that time he has crow hopped once after sitting a few weeks, for that reason I don’t think he should go to complete beginners without guidance of a professional. Never offered to buck, bolt, rear, kick, bite, etc. On the ground he is a gentleman. Stands tied, great for the farrier, loves a bath, no stall vices, and is an easy keeper. No history lameness, colic, etc. Shod up front and barefoot behind. He has always been a solid citizen and is ready to fill that position for another family. UTD on Dental, Farrier, and Worming
