The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Trail and family-use miniature mare with basic under-saddle and groundwork in place, Mabel is described as a 7-year-old bay mini suited best as a continued-training project. She lunges at walk, trot, and lope, knows forehand and haunch turns, side passing, and backing, and has been ridden in a bit with soft, responsive feel. The listing states that she has carried lead-line children under supervision, loads well, ties, and handles basic care. Seller disclosures note that she can be nervous around fast movement, may be hard to catch when playful, occasionally paws when impatient, and has an opinionated pony temperament. She is also described as sound, healthy, and as having produced one uncomplicated foal.
