She has been extensively trail ridden. She crosses obstacles, water, bridges, etc without question. She has gone to clinics, and small shows. Cherry has experience with cutting, sorting, working the flag, and has practiced tracking the dummy roping cow behind a 4 wheeler, but she would need a refresher as it has been a couple of years. She is very light on the bit and only wears a curb when a show requires she have it. She Typically rides in a 3 piece French link snaffle, side pull or halter. She rides off of seat and leg and is very responsive. Although beginner riders can ride her, she has a lot of buttons, and is a large girl with a motor, so small children and beginners should ride her when supervised or with a trainer. She is very smart, so if ridden by inexperienced people, she may need someone experienced to hop on occasionally to make sure she does not pick up any bad habits. She can sit for extended periods of time and pick back up like she is ridden every day. Cherry is an extremely easy keeper. Grass hay, ration balancer, slow feed nets, dry lot when the grass is too green. What can I say? She’s cheap to keep fed. She is great for grooming and handling her feet.
